Lasagne, (originated from Neples, Italy) is an Italian main corse dish made of stacked layers of flat pasta sheets (made of wheat) alternating stuffing of vegetables and be topped with melted grated mozzarella cheese. Here in my recipe I replaced pasta sheets with potato chips with white sauce, stuffing of vegetables and topped with cheese to make it dilicious restaurant feel dish #italian #potato

  2. 2 medium sized potato
  3. For White sause
  4. 1/2 cup all-purpose flour (maida)
  5. 2 cup warm milk
  6. 1 tablespoon sugar
  7. 1 tablespoon condensed milk (optional)
  8. 1 cheese cube (optional)
  9. For Vegetable stuffing
  10. 2 cup grated cabbage, capsicum, onion, Tomato
  11. 1 teaspoon oragano
  12. 1 teaspoon chilli flakes
  13. 1 teaspoon red chilli sauce
  14. 1 tablespoon sezvan chutney
  15. 1 tablespoon tomato sauce
  16. to taste Salte,black pepper powder

Steps to make to make Lasagne

  1. Make thin slices of potatoes. Sock in salted water(add pinch of salt in water) for 5 minutes. After that remove starch and parboiled it in salted water. Once done strain out water and let all slices cool down. Then spread chips evenly on oil grezzed backing tray. You can also use aluminium tray or thick stainless steel dish.
  2. Now let's prepare the white sauce. take one pan, add oil and all-purpose flour, saute flour. When flour changes colour gradually add warm milk and stirring constantly to avoid lumps.
  3. Once mixture stated to get thickened add sugar, pinch of salt and black pepper powder to taste. Add condensed milk and grated cheese to make it creamy and cheesy.
    Keep stirring to make smooth mixure. Once it gets sauce like consistency, off the gas stove and pour the sauce on potato chips tray evenly. Sprinkle oragano and chilli flakes to taste.
  4. Now let's prepare veggies stuffing. Take one pan add onions and saute with oil. Then add cabbage, Tomato, capsicum and saute it.
  5. Add salt and black pepper powder to taste. Add tomato sauce and sezvan chutney, add red chilli sauce to get more spicer. Saute mixture for 2 mins and off the gas stove, spread mixture on white souce tray gently.
  6. Then grated cheese on top. Back tray in oven or pressure cooker until cheese get melted (hardly for 2 mins).
    Here's your lasagne ready. Serve with cold drink.
